A New Way to use Your MagicBand+ This Holiday Season

Disney has added a new way to use your MagicBand+ this holiday season. You will want to add this stop to your Disney holiday plans.

The holiday season is a beautiful and special time at Disney World. It is an amazing time to visit. The parks and resorts are decorated for the festive holiday season.

Disney is also hosting TWO parties this year, Disney Jollywood Nights and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Not planning to visit these parties or any parks? Disney Springs has a lot to offer Guests during this holiday time too!

Christmas Tree Stroll

The Christmas Tree Stroll is back this year. All throughout the shopping and dining complex, you will find themed trees. Make sure you grab the complimentary map to help you find all 19 trees! Use the correct stickers once you locate each tree and turn it in to receive a prize. Map distribution and redemption locations include:

  • City Works Eatery & Pour House
  • Crystal Arts by Arribas Brothers
  • Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea Company
  • The LEGO Store
  • Planet Hollywood

New Addition to Christmas Tree Stroll

Disney has added a new addition to the Christmas Tree Stroll. You can now activate the Magic with your MagicBand+!

Guests can now use their MagicBand+ along the Christmas Tree Stroll to activate the holiday magic!

This year, Guests can now interact with select trees along the Christmas Tree Stroll with their MagicBand+. Check out the video below:

Be sure to make a stop at The Nightmare Before Christmas tree. Guests are instructed to make a circular gesture near this tree to see Zero take flight at the top of the tree!

Disney states that Guests will see other colorful surprises at other select trees along the trail. Be sure to have your MagicBand+ charged before trying to enjoy these experiences.

If you don’t have a MagicBand+, you can visit Pin traders or DisneyStyles while visiting Disney Springs to purchase one.
