It’s about that time to wish Mickey and Minnie Mouse a very “Happy Birthday”! There will be special parades and so many ways to celebrate this momentous day. Which are you most excited for?
Mickey and Minnie’s Birthday
Walt Disney said it best, “I only hope that we never lose sight of one thing…that it was all started by a mouse.” November 18th is the day that we celebrate the birth of Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
Although Mickey Mouse appeared in 2 films prior, Plane Crazy and Gallopin’ Gaucho, Steamboat Willie was the most notable film that introduced us to Mickey Mouse. Aired on November 18, 1923, we now celebrate this day as the birthday of both Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
Park Celebrations
Over the years, Disney Parks have honored Mickey and Minnie’s birthday in special ways from buttons, stickers, and fun character interactions. This year, Disneyland Paris announces a grand celebration for our favorite couple.
First, guests can enjoy a special cavalcade just for this date, but shhhh it’s a surprise. The Mickey and Minnie’s Surprise Birthday Celebration will take place at Disneyland Park at 1:35 pm, 3:35 pm, and 6:10 pm.
Both Mickey and Minnie will cruise down Main Street, USA. This celebratory cavalcade will end with a special stage show in front of the Royal Castle Stage.

Guests can also enjoy special Magic Shots complete with a unique special occasion frame. This will be offered in front of Plaza Gardens Restaurant.
Special Treats
What is a birthday celebration without delicious treats? An exclusive Steamboat Willie millefeuille will be served at Walt’s American Restaurant at Disneyland Paris Park.
Along with this, guests can enjoy delicious Mickey and Minnie Mouse marshmallow pops at both Cool Post and the Old Mill (Disneyland Park) and Ben & Jerry’s Cart (Disney Village).

It seems as though Disneyland Paris offers many great celebrations for the Walt Disney Company celebrations – more so than any other Disney Park. We saw this for the Walt Disney 100 Celebration last month. We hope all Disney Parks will celebrate our favorite couple this weekend, but for now no announcements have been made.
