Saving the galaxy this time is gonna take more than a dance-off. Guests visiting EPCOT at Walt Disney World Resort better get ready to crank up the mixtape and blast off on an awesome intergalactic chase through time and space in Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind!
This family-thrill coaster matches the and fun and thrill of the blockbuster “Guardians of the Galaxy” films. It features our favorite cosmic outlaws: Rocket, Groot, Drax, Gamora and Star-Lord (a.k.a. Peter Quill). The one-of-a-kind attraction is another milestone in the ongoing transformation of EPCOT.

Prestigious Award
Disney just revealed that Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will be honored with a prestigious Thea Award. In particular, the attraction wins Outstanding Achievement – Attraction in 2024 by the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA).
Recognized around the world, the Thea Awards acknowledge exceptional achievements in the themed entertainment industry and celebrate the creative teams who bring immersive experiences to life.
Not only is it the longest fully-enclosed coaster in any Disney park, but it is also the first reverse-launch and first omnicoaster Disney has done. This award is well-deserved!
Congratulations to the Imagineers who worked so incredibly hard on this attraction!
