Later Evening Hours Continue at Disney World as Holidays Approach

Guests participating in an After Hours event, Party, or Extended Evening Hours can stay in the park quite late. But, it’s always fun to see park hours extended on a “regular” evening. As the holidays approach, we see later hours occur.

Disney World Park Hours

Our Kenny the Pirate writing team shares the latest theme park updates with you as Disney releases them. While the initial hours are a great way to begin preparing for your trip, Disney also updates the hours as dates loom near. We want to make sure that you have all the information that you need for your upcoming trip.

It is always exciting when Disney adds to its hours of operation because you can plan what to do with extra time in the parks! When park hours extend, it means your early entry times might shift! So be sure you check the schedule so that you can arrive accordingly if you wish to utilize the Early Entry benefit.

This week, we have some updated hours at three parks.

December 3, 4, and 5

On December 3 Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom all open earlier than originally posted. They now open at 8:00 (MK), 8:30 (HS), and 8:00 (AK).

Then, December 4 hours change for Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. Both open earlier – 8:30 for Hollywood Studios and 8:00 for Animal Kingdom.

Finally, December 5 sees earlier hours at Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom again. They are the same hours as December 4.

December 6, 7, 8, and 9

Magic Kingdom opens earlier and closes later on December 6. Those hours are now 8:00 am to 11:00 pm. Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom open earlier as well (8:30 and 8:00 am, respectively).

Then, on December 7 and 8, all three of these parks open earlier. Those hours are now:

• Magic Kingdom: 8:00
• Hollywood Studios: 8:30
• Animal Kingdom: 8:00

December 9 follows the same schedule change as December 6. Remember, Early Entry has also been pushed up 30 minutes with these changes.
