There is no better tribute that we could imagine for Mickey and Minnie’s birthday. You do NOT want to miss this special presentation for select Disney fans across the country for one day only. There is also a special way to enjoy this at home too.
Birthday Celebration
Mickey and Minnie Mouse bring joy to so many and today is their birthday. Mickey Mouse first appeared in 2 films Plane Crazy and Gallopin’ Gaucho, but it wasn’t until Steamboat Willie that the world fell in love with Mickey and Minnie Mouse. This film first aired on November 18, 1928. We now celebrate this day as the birthday of both Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
Over the years, Disney Parks have honored Mickey and Minnie’s birthday in special ways from buttons, stickers, and fun character interactions. Disneyland Paris announced a grand celebration for our favorite couple, but the celebration is somewhat lacking at the other Disney Parks.
Special Presentation
In honor of Disney 100, Disney Animation created a new film “Wish.” At select theatres, “Wish” is available for an early access screening starting today, November 18th. For today only Disney fans attending this early access can watch a special tribute for Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
This is such a special surprise for Disney fans today, but the good news is that you can enjoy this short tribute from the comfort of your own home. Walt Disney said it best, “I only hope that we never lose sight of one thing…that it was all started by a mouse.”
In true Disney fashion, this tribute is not long, but it is loaded with nostalgia. This short film truly has all the feels and we are here for it! Warning, you may want to great your tissues for this one:
For today only Disney fans attending this early access for “Wish” can watch a special tribute for Mickey and Minnie Mouse on the big screen.
