Do you love enjoying Extended Evening Hours at Walt Disney World? Well, now there will be even more to enjoy for a limited time. See if your dates align.
Extended Evening Hours
One of the very best perks of staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort is Extended Evening Hours. The parks close down to most Guests, but they remain open for Guests of Disney Deluxe Resorts on select dates for even MORE magic. Those who are lucky enough to attend enjoy 2 extra hours of park time with delightfully short waits for the attractions that remain open during the events.
Often, these hours are offered once a week at the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. Sometimes, they even happen at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. And, recently Disney’s Animal Kingdom got in on the fun.
A Fun Addition
Currently, Guests of Disney Deluxe Resorts can enjoy extra time at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on select evenings. These dates began in November. The attraction offerings are generally: Avatar Flight of Passage, DINOSAUR, Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, It’s Tough to be a Bug!, Meet Favorite Disney Pals at Adventurers Outpost, Na’vi River Journey, and TriceraTop Spin.
However, now, Disney’s Animal Kingdom is ADDING a beloved attraction to its Extended Evening Hours Line-up. But this special show is available for one night only.
On December 28, 2024, Guests of Disney Deluxe Resorts who take advantage of Extended Evening Hours can enjoy The Festival of the Lion King! Performances have been added to the calendar for 8 pm, and 9 pm. Since the Extended Evening Hours conclude at 9 PM, Guests who attend that show will be able to stretch out their visit to Disney’s Animal Kingdom even longer. So, if maximizing your time in the parks is important to you, plan accordingly.
Disney World has added times for Festival of the Lion King to Extended Evening Hours for Animal Kingdom.
Will you be taking advantage of this benefit? Do you hope Disney World continues to add Disney’s Animal Kingdom to the Extended Evening Hours schedule? Let us know in the comments. And, be sure to share this with your friends who are visiting this holiday season so that they can enjoy it, too.
