Disney and Hulu
Previously, Disney had owned 67% of Hulu while Comcast had owned the other 33%. In 2019, Disney acquired 21st Century Fox which gave them the majority shares.
On November 1, 2023 Disney exercised their right to the agreement they made with Comcast. The Walt Disney Company then was able to acquire the remaining 33% stake in Hulu. You can read more about that HERE.
Disney+ and Hulu in ONE Place
Now, subscribers that have a Disney Bundle can now stream Hulu content through their Disney+ app as an all new Beta experience. Subscribers only have to have one app to get all of their content!
Disney Bundle subscribers will now find a Hulu Hub on their Home Screen along with Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic. Hulu is not available in Junior Mode.
Hulu Hub can now be found in your Disney+ app if you have a Disney Bundle!
It is important to note that Disney does share some fine print. They state that only select Hulu content is available via Disney+ with valid Hulu and Disney+ subscriptions, you can find exclusive Hulu content on the Hulu app. When Hulu content is streamed via Disney+, up to two deceives can stream at the same time.
What do you think of the Hulu Hub in the Disney+ app? Will watch Hulu through your Disney+ app? Let us know in the comments below and be sure to share this with your friends!
