Disney Has Updated Theme Park Hours for Even More Magic

If you are traveling to Walt Disney World soon, you will want to check out the latest theme park hours. You and your travel party might just be in for even MORE magic! Here is the latest to help you plan your dream trip!

Updated Disney Park Hours

Our Kenny the Pirate writing team shares the latest theme park updates with you as Disney releases them. While the initial hours are a great way to begin preparing for your trip, Disney also updates the hours as dates loom near. We want to make sure that you have all the information that you need for your upcoming trip.

It is always exciting when Disney adds to its hours of operation because you can plan what to do with extra time in the parks! When park hours are extended, it means you are in for even more magic!  It might even mean your early entry times might shift! So be sure you check the schedule so that you can arrive accordingly if you wish to utilize the Early Entry benefit.

Hours for New Year’s Eve

Disney has updated its hours of operation for one of the BIGGEST days of the year: New Year’s Eve. While we are surprised at the shifts in The Magic Kingdom’s park hours, there are a few surprises, too!

NEW YEAR’S EVE JUST GOT MORE MAGICAL

On December 31, 2023, Magic Kingdom be open from 8 am to 1 am. Don’t forget to check out the schedule for Fantasy in the Sky, one of the most spectacular fireworks displays you will ever see. Head HERE for times. And, remember that you don’t have to leave right after the show. Enjoy the parks a little longer.

Also, on December 31, 2023, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will remain open from 8 am to 8 pm. There are no fireworks for the sake of the animal residents, however, you can take advantage of a rare opportunity to enjoy Animal Kingdom after dark. It is so gorgeous, and you can get some really cool magic shots that are only available after the sun goes down.

Now, you can also enjoy NYE at Disney’s Hollywood Studios from 8:30 am to 12 am. This is an example of a shift in opening hours, so your Early Entry benefit will shift with it! Make sure to set your alarm to be there earlier if you want to take advantage of the lower crowd levels.

EPCOT hours are unchanged. Enjoy the fun from 9 am-1:00 am!
