Disney World Removes a Unique Offering from the Magic Kingdom

Disney World stays fresh and evolving by adding and removing offerings in its theme parks and resorts. Unfortunately, the latest offering to go was quite unique and we are bummed to hear this news.

Step inside the Beast’s castle for an enchanting meal in the heart of Fantasyland. This Magic Kingdom restaurant is one of the hottest dining reservations to score. You can read Donna’s review of Be our Guest HERE.

When the parks reopened in 2020, Be Our Guest saw many changes. First, Disney did away with breakfast at the Beast’s castle. Eating breakfast before the park opened was my favorite early morning strategy. You can read why HERE.

Then, they made lunch table-service instead of quick-service. Many were understandably upset that Disney did away with the budget-friendly option. $70 for adults and $41 for kids really adds up with a normal travel party.

It’s hard not to feel like Disney is pricing the majority of its Guests out.

However, not all the changes to hit Be Our Guest have been bad. In fact, one new offering made us quite happy!

Back in April, Disney World debuted brunch hours and a new brunch menu. Instead of opening at 12:00 pm daily, the restaurant now opens at 10:00 am. And, this new brunch menu included items like omelettes, eggs, bacon, and fruit.

Unfortunately, this brunch offering is short lived. We can confirm that Disney World no longer offers brunch at the Magic Kingdom. They stopped serving yesterday, December 16. Now, the same lunch and dinner menu is served all day.

Not many other places in the Disney World theme parks offer a dedicated brunch menu and certainly none in the Magic Kingdom. This is an offering we are sad to see leave.
