Frozen Ever After is one of the most popular attractions at Walt Disney World. The attraction has consistent wait times of up to an hour or even more on any given day. Like most attractions, it does close for refurbishment on occasion. Will the latest refurbishment affect your travel plans?
Frozen Ever After
Hop on an ancient Nordic boat and voyage through scenes of the film as you sing along to those catchy songs. Travel up the North Mountain where Elsa is creating her palace made of ice (ice is my life) and plunge forward and backward through the wintry world of Frozen.
This attraction is a must do for any Frozen fan! You can see all of your favorite characters from Frozen like Anna, Elsa, Olaf and Sven!
Refurbishments
January is the typical month we see attraction refurbishments at Walt Disney World. Crowd levels are down and the holiday rush is over. We have already seen quite a few refurbishments pop up recently for next month, such as Kali River Rapids and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. Big Thunder Mountain over at the Magic Kingdom is also scheduled to have a brief refurbishment in January.
Though refurbishments are never part of anyone’s plans, they do happen frequently and it’s good to be prepared for when they occur so that you can adjust your plans accordingly. They might be frustrating when it happens during your vacation, but just know that they take place to make any necessary improvements or keep the attractions up to date.
Brief Closure
Frozen Ever After will join the list of lengthy refurbishments for January 2024. The attraction is expected to close for planned maintenance on Wednesday, January 24th.
Frozen Ever After will close for a brief refurbishment on January 24, 2024.
Luckily, this only a very brief refurbishment and the attraction will reopen to guests the following day on January 25th. The brief closure will not affect any of the offerings or services in the Norway pavilion.
