This kind of behavior is not tolerated and equals an automatic ban from Disney World property. Bad Guest behavior is not the way to celebrate the busiest week of the entire year.
Bad Guest Behavior
Over the last few years, we have seen our fair share of poorly behaved Guests. Whether that be someone sticking their feet in the water on Splash Mountain, brawls breaking out, or a drunk man shutting down the Skyliner, we feel like we have seen it all. School parents even went so far as to take a dip in an Epcot fountain earlier this year.
Disney even went so far as to post a courtesy reminder on the website over one year ago.
Be the magic you want to see in the world. You must always remember to treat others with respect, kindness and compassion. Those who can’t live up to this simple wish may be asked to leave Walt Disney World Resort.
Is the Magic Gone?
It seems like fights and arguments occurring at Disney seem to be more common than in the past. Maybe it’s the increase of social media in our technological world or the stress of being in the parks during the busiest week of the year. While we certainly don’t like reporting it, it does shed a light on the state of the theme parks and the daily happenings.
It definitely feels like all these arguments and fights are causing the magic to fade a bit at The Most Magical Place on Earth. No one likes to witness these incidents, especially when you are traveling with children.
We have reported fights and arguments on the trams, ferry boats, and in the parks. We share these incidents to make you aware that these physical fights and verbal arguments do happen. Many of us like to think we leave the real world behind when we visit the parks, but that is not always the case.
Man Punches a Cast Member
Videos are beginning to spring up on social media that indicate a man punched a Cast Member on the Monorail platform outside the Magic Kingdom. The incident occurred last night, December 29, around 9:45 pm.
While the actual incident was not recorded, a few videos show the aftermath of Disney security and local law enforcement interviewing those on the platform. As a result, Monorail operations were delayed.
Comments suggest the Guest “freaked out” for no reason and that the Cast Member did nothing wrong. Law enforcement reportedly arrested the man.

Glad I came to Disney World last month & was vigilant around myself at all times making sure nothing minor was goin' to happen. Nothing big to report from my perspective. Least my early birthday & christmas wasn't ruined. But will keep a lookout next time I visit the MK.

I was punched in the stomach by a cast member back in 2008. I was attending a concert, postoperative by 6 weeks, and could barely move. I had my hand on the box in front of the stage before the show for balance. She told me I was out of line and to sit down. My father was a cast member and when I told him what happened, we reported her. I don't know the outcome of that assault. Just saying it goes both ways.
