Heads up to all you planners: we have new park hours for Disney World! Get all the details here.
Park Hours at Disney World
Our Kenny the Pirate writing team shares the latest theme park updates with you as Disney releases them. While the initial hours are a great way to begin preparing for your trip, Disney also updates the hours as dates get closer.
We want to make sure that you have all the information that you need for your upcoming trip.
It is always exciting when Disney adds more hours because you can plan what to do with extra time in the parks! When park hours are extended, it means your early entry times might shift! So be sure you check the schedule so that you can arrive accordingly if you wish to utilize the Early Entry benefit.
This week, we have some updated hours at two parks.
Updates for Magic Kingdom
The first update is for Magic Kingdom. On January 21, 26, and 27 Disney extended hours from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm to 9:00 am to 11:00 pm. That is two extra hours in the evening!
Then, from January 22 to January 25, you get one extra hour in the evening. Instead of closing at 9:00 pm, the park will close at 10:00 pm. Park opening is still set for 9:00 am.
Updates for Animal Kingdom
Next, at Animal Kingdom we get a little more time in the evening. On January 21 and 22 the park will close at 7:00 pm (previously 6:00 pm). The park will keep its original opening times of 8:00 am.
From January 23 to 25, hours are now listed as 9:00 am to 7:00 pm – previously 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Finally, on January 26 and 27, Animal Kingdom moves to a 7:00 pm closing instead of 6:00 pm. The opening time is still 8:00 am.
