Disney is Removing Special Decor and Offering Big Discounts Now

With the Disney100 celebration coming to an end, the parks are being stripped of the decor and special celebrations. Here is what to expect including how this change might just save you some money!

Disney100 Is Ending

The celebration of Disney’s 100th anniversary is coming to an end! It has been fun celebrating Disney100 through merch, special events, and special entertainment such as the delightful animated short Once Upon a Studio and Disney’s newest feature-length animated film Wish.

But, now the parks are being stripped of Disney100 decor in anticipation of what is to come. Here is what is happening now.

Disney100 Decor

We noticed that the Disney100 decor at park entrances have started to vanish. For example, the Disney100 logo that stood at the train station at the entry of the Magic Kingdom vanished overnight!

You can see it was there one day and gone the very next. The entryway still looks lovely, of course, but we are excited to see if anything shows up to replace it.

The EPCOT planter is also empty of its Disney100 decor. And, more will continue to vanish as the park gears up for EPCOT International Festival of the Arts!

As of yesterday, January 6, Mickey and Minnie Mouse were still greeting guests in their Disney100 Outfits. You can read more about how to find them HERE.

Soarin’

As of yesterday, the Soarin’ Over California version of the Soarin’ attraction remained in the Land Pavillion. For now, Guests can enjoy the smell of the orange grove.

We do not know when Soarin’ Around the World will return to EPCOT. But, we will let you know as soon as word materializes.
