Every month Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs drops a special cookie of the month. Check out the amazing new flavor now available at the famous Disney Springs bakery!
Gideon’s Bakehouse
Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs is famous for its made from scratch cookies that take over 24 hours to create and weigh almost half a pound each! The bakery, filled with antique books, artwork and curiosities from the Victorian era, is also an attraction in and of itself.
It’s so popular that when it first opened it was known to have a virtual queue for entry that was multiple hours long! The most famous cookie is definitely the Original Chocolate Chip. Other flavors include Peanut Butter Crunch, Cookies and Cream, Pistachio Toffee Chocolate Chip, Triple Chocolate Chip, Coffee Cake, and Banana Bread Chocolate Chip.
Cake slices and cold brew are also available.
January Treats
In addition to regular offerings, Gideon’s always announces a cookie of the month. This month the flavor is Maple Walnut Chocolate Chip. This decadent treat is a chocolate chip cookie blended with maple syrup and candied walnuts and sprinkled on top with cinnamon nutmeg sugar. Yum!
Every Wednesday and Saturday a limited edition Maple Caramel Chocolate Cake flavor will also be available in the month of January. It features three layers of chocolate cake covered in maple cream cheese buttercream and topped off with ribbons of caramel, chocolate chips and walnut chunks. This one sounds amazing!
The French Toast Cold Brew is also back just for the month of January because it pairs so well with the maple flavors of the cookie and cake. So, if you’re a fan of this cold brew variety get it while you can!
New Merchandise
Gideon’s has a bit of a cult following and their merchandise including shirts, candles, pins, art prints and tumblers is created in limited quantities and in high demand.
In January they released a new t-shirt featuring Poppy, an ice fairy, that is available for $30 in the shop and online. A new Death’s Head Cookie Pin is also available this month in the shop and online for $15. Only 2000 pins in total will be sold.
