Orlando International Airport will soon introduce a more convenient travel experience. Take a look to learn more so you can take advantage of it.
Orlando International Airport
Orlando International Airport, also known as MCO, has become increasingly busier in recent years and was recently named one of the 10 busiest airports in the United States. This is because of the many theme parks and attractions in the area, including Disney World, Universal, Legoland, and SeaWorld, that attract millions of visitors every year.
To keep up with the growing demand, the airport has expanded and recently opened Terminal C, which features international gates, shopping, and dining options. If you’re planning on traveling through MCO, be sure to check out our guide to the airport, which has all the information you need about the TSA process, shopping, dining, and more.
To accommodate the growing number of travelers, Orlando International Airport recently opened a new terminal.
New Experience
If you’re tired of the hassle and stress that come with traveling, you’ll be happy to know that Orlando International Airport has announced a new service that makes traveling easier and more convenient than ever before: reserved parking.
Orlando International Airport will be offering reserved parking soon.
In a teaser clip shown below, the airport reveals that they will soon offer reserved parking, which will be a great relief for frequent travelers who know how difficult it can be to secure a parking spot at MCO.
While the airport has not yet released any additional information about the reserved parking service, hopefully, it can be reserved ahead of time online.
How Can this Help?
I (Susan) love to travel, or at least enjoy my vacation. However, my travel anxiety can get pretty bad. Between worrying about traffic, finding a parking space, and getting through security, I find myself ready to get to my destination.
Recently, I started reserving an entire parking area. It’s a lot more convenient than driving around looking for a space, but you can only access it if you book it online in advance.
Reserved parking is a lot more convenient than driving around looking for a space.
At the Charlotte airport, where cameras recognize the license plates of pre-paid parkers, this should make for a much smoother experience than searching for an ID or QR code to scan. Having this peace of mind that I don’t have to search endlessly for a parking spot eases my travel stress.
Do you travel frequently? If so, have you ever paid for reserved parking? Or would you consider it? Let us know in the comments, and be sure to share this post with other frequent travelers.
