Magic Kingdom is bringing a brand new experience for guests and we are here for it. Check out the new progress in Fantasyland. Are you excited for this new addition?
New Experience
We have said it before, and here we are saying it again: Disney Parks are more than simply a theme park. Of course, they have great attractions that the whole family can enjoy, but the Disney Parks are so much more than that.
Guests can enjoy wonderful entertainment, meet their favorite characters, and step into their favorite film with such great immersive experiences. From interactive queues to free scavenger hunts, these are great ways to enjoy even a busy day at the Disney parks.
Back in July, Disney revealed a new interactive experience for Fantasyland. “Smellephants on Parade” will be a family-friendly search and sniff adventure in Storybook Circus. This new experience, sponsored by Scentsy, will be a scavenger hunt for the senses.
Work Underway
Walt Disney World did not share an opening timeline for this fun scavenger hunt, but work is steadily taking place. Back in November, “Sponsored by Scentsy” was added to the Dumbo the Flying Elephant attraction sign.
Throughout the Storybook Circus play area, updated banners now include “Sponsored by Scentsy.” It appears that this scavenger hunt will include much of this play area.
One of the biggest changes is located near the Lighting Lane entrance for Dumbo the Flying Elephant attraction. It appears that the landscape is now cleared at this location. The most logical assumption is that this will be for the new “Smellophants on Parade” scavenger hunt.
The landscape is now cleared at the entrance to Dumbo the Flying Elephant.
We will continue to watch for progress at Fantasyland. Once it debuts this will be a great interactive experience for all guests.
