Are you ready for springtime? We are too! This year EPCOT is preparing for the Flower and Garden Festival, but it will be much shorter than in years past. Find out the new festival dates and get a sneak peek of other things in store for us.
Flower and Garden Festival
EPCOT is known for the many great festivals that it hosts throughout the year. Currently, EPCOT guests can take on their creative side at EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts.
As this festival is now underway, work is already taking place for the next festival, the 2024 International Flower and Garden Festival. This stunning festival features alluring gardens, whimsical topiaries, lively entertainment, beautiful merchandise, and delightfully fresh cuisine.
New Dates
Last month, we were delighted that the 2024 International Flower and Garden Festival will start earlier than in previous years. This year, it will begin on February 28, 2024. In the past, the Flower and Garden Festival typically begins anywhere from March 2-5.
In previous years the International Flower and Garden Festival, ends in early to mid-July. This year, Disney announced a brand new end date for this festival of May 27, 2024. This is over a month shorter than in previous years. This is very disappointing for guests hoping to enjoy this festival in June or July.
The International Flower and Garden Festival will end on May 27, 2024.
Brand New This Year
This year there will be a grand total of 70 topiaries on display throughout EPCOT. Disney is creating a brand new display at the park entrance in honor of Disney’s “Wish” including Asha, Valentino, and the Wishing Star.
In Mexico, Miguel and Dante take center stage as featured in Pixar’s Coco. In the newly opened World Celebration Gardens, guests can enjoy a vibrant Figment topiary. Also for the first time, Groot comes alive as a topiary. You can find him over at World Discover at Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
