Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is taking over Splash Mountain, and we can’t wait to see it done! Disney posted information regarding the new attraction, including the height requirement. Find all the details here.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
The enchantment of the bayou will illuminate with a celebration during Mardi Gras season hosted by Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen. It picks up where the movie last left off: with the kiss.
In addition, Mama Odie will reprise her role as the catalyst of that magic. Mama Odie will joke with guests along their journey after a special display of her magic.
Take a look at the cool attraction details HERE and the storyline HERE. We are also particularly excited that the Audio-Animatronics will use the same technology in Hong Kong Disneyland. And, we finally got a peek inside just last month!
Height Requirement
Because Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is not a “new” attraction but a retheme of a previous ride, the height requirement is not exactly surprising. Splash Mountain had a 40″ height requirement, and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will also have a 40″ height requirement.
We expect all of the major elements of the attraction to remain the same, like the tracks and ride system. So, this is not surprising at all and we are happy that even the youngest Guests will be able to experience a princess ride.
The height requirement for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is 40″.
