Marvel has quickly become one of Disney’s most beloved and featured IPs in the parks. We have characters, attractions, and merchandise featuring favorites like Spider-Man, Captain America, and more. Now they will make their first entertainment debut at one of Disney’s parks.
Marvel in Disney Parks
The Marvel franchise is one of Disney’s most successful film franchises. The blockbuster films and original shows on Disney+ are wildly popular and critically acclaimed. Fans truly love these characters and the intricate stories created in the series of content.
Marvel properties have even found their way into the Disney parks! From Avengers Campus to Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and everything in between, it is clear that Disney knows we love this franchise and want to see more! And they are certainly delivering more to us!
Debuting Soon
The Tokyo Disney Resort announced a new castle projection show that will debut September 20, 2024. Here are the details on what to expect.
The show will feature the same projection mapping technology as seen here in the United States. Additionally, the show will include lighting, pyrotechnics, and special effects to bring the characters to life.
Music and imagery projected onto the castle will fill the sky, making Guests feel as if they are soaring through the sky alongside Disney characters. Characters include those from Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, and Marvel.
This is the very time Marvel characters will be part of entertainment at Tokyo Disney Resort!
