It’s an epic day for Epic Universe! Universal confirmed the new lands coming to the park, along with details and concept art. Check it out below and let us know what you think! Are you excited to visit Epic Universe?
Epic Universe
Universal Orlando created something groundbreaking when it introduced The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Now, Universal Orlando is working on a new theme park called Epic Universe.
It will open in 2025 and will offer an entirely new level of experience that will change theme park entertainment. Guests will travel into beloved stories and through vibrant lands on adventures where the journey is as amazing as the ultimate destination.
Epic Universe will have a theme park, an entertainment center, hotels, shops, restaurants, and more. This expansion will create more space and freedom to let loose and create lasting memories with the people you love.
New Lands
Epic Universe will be made up of 5 different worlds, which are all connected through Celestial Park. Celestial Park is the first world you’ll experience at the entrance of the park.
Then, four more portals lead you to the other lands/worlds. Those lands include The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe.
Five new lands will be part of Epic Universe.
More About Celestial Park
While Universal did not share too much about the four other worlds that make up Epic Universe, they had a lot to say about Celestial Park. Celestial Park is the world between worlds, where everything begins and ends. As mentioned above, Celestial Park holds the portals to the other four worlds of Epic Universe.
It will also be home to restaurants, attractions, shopping, and the most unique hotel at Universal. During the day it is a lush garden with fountains. And at night, it lights up and transforms into something completely different.
Here is a quick snapshot of what is found in Celestial Park:
- Constellation Carousel: while the carousel spins around, the creatures also turn 360 degrees making you feel like you’re caught within the Milky Way riding on constellations. No height requirement.
- Starfall Racers: a racing dual-launch coaster that goes 62 mph and reaches a height of 133 feet. Riding it at night will be the preferred time to ride, as hundreds of points of light will make the vehicles look like shooting comets! Be sure to look for the Easter egg on the back of each vehicle. 48″ height requirement.
- Astronomia: interactive wet-play attraction
- Atlantic and The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant: Quality fresh food with amazing storytelling.
- Nintendo Super Star Store
- Universal Helios Grand Hotel, Universal Stella Nova Resort, and Universal Terra Luna Resort
