This DVC resort will be the 17th Disney Vacation Club Resort and is projected to open in Summer 2024. The Fort offers a unique way to experience Walt Disney World Resort. It really is a hidden gem!

The first round of Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort will open on July 1. Another group of cabins will open later in July, with additional groups opening throughout the year.

The Cabins will officially open in July 2024 with more to come throughout the year.

These private one-bedroom cabins will offer all the comforts of home. Each cabin will sleep six and some will even be dog friendly!

Take a look in this post for incredible details abut the cabins. My (Monica) family really enjoyed our time at the Fort this past summer. We stayed in a cabin, and I am really excited to see the new ones!

Disney has shared some concept art and other photos recently, but today we received our first video! Check it out below:

Artwork is inspired by vintage posters for US National Parks. Did you notice the trailer Mickey was hauling in the artwork of the pull-down bed? I am loving all the special nods to characters and places – including River Country!

There is a lot of functionality too – from drawers under the bunk bed to a step stool in the bathroom for little ones. These new cabins are sure to stand out among the most unique DVC accommodations Disney has to offer.
