Disney World annual passes cost a pretty penny, and while they come with benefits, a popular perk is not available at the moment.
Annual Passes
If you’re an Annual Passholder at Walt Disney World, you’ll get some cool perks. These include special merchandise events and fun effects when you scan your MagicBand+ upon arrival at the parks and discounts on merchandise and dining at select locations.
One of the best perks is that you’ll get free Disney-themed magnets!
Disney creates many fun magnets to celebrate occasions and feature some of our favorite Disney characters. We recently shared the latest available magnet HERE.
“Good to Go Days”
Most guests visiting Disney World no longer require park reservations. However, if you have non-date-based tickets or an Annual Pass, you must make reservations if you plan to visit the parks before 2:00 pm on weekdays. In addition, Passholders must still make reservations for Magic Kingdom on weekends.
Disney World requires most visitors to make a reservation to enter its parks. However, they introduced “Good to Go” dates on the calendar earlier this year.
These dates are for Annual Passholders only and allow them to visit the parks without making a reservation. The dates popped up unexpectedly and were announced days or weeks before. However, now that’s all changed.
What Does This Mean to You?
Annual Passholders used to enjoy the flexibility of having “Good to Go” dates for park entry. However, Disney has now removed those dates, and Passholders are now required to make reservations before 2:00 pm for all theme parks or only for Magic Kingdom on weekends.
Disney World “Good to Go” dates are no longer offered for Annual Passholders.
Typically, these “Good to Go” days were offered when Disney anticipated lower crowds. However, with spring break approaching it’s going to be a busy season! It’s especially important to have a plan when you visit during busy times.
Did you take advantage of “Good to Go” days? Or, were they unnecessary? Let us know in the comments and share this post with an Annual Passholder.

Could ktp writers go back to showing the link with number of comments at the top of the page? I like to read those comments first without having to scroll through the whole article to see if there’s any.

Why am I not surprised. For years passholders have provided Disney with necessary income during slow times. Now they say that passholders don't spend enough money in the parks. I guess the over 10K we spend each year on annual passes and resort stays isn't enough for them. We're done!

Ridiculous!!! Changes need to be made in management. Until then, Disney isn't going to shape up. (It really wasn't much of a perk, but still...)
