Upcoming Event Promises to Share More Details for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

Disney announced the opening timeframe of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure for summer 2024. One upcoming event promises to share more details of this attraction!

In the infamous words of Tiana, “We’re Almost There” with the opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.

Attraction vehicle testing has started and water is returning to the former Splash Mountain attraction. Much of the scaffolding is also removed from this attraction.

So far an exact opening date has not been announced, but it will open summer of 2024. You can check height requirements and also some fun details for this attraction.

In honor of the film’s 15th anniversary, this event will showcase all things Princess and the Frog in the location that inspired this story.

Mark your calendars because on March 23, D23 will host a “Down in New Orleans” event in New Orleans, Louisiana.

This will include a special screening of “Princess and the Frog”, and “Disney Down in New Orleans” documentary presented by the Walt Disney Archives, along with a special appearance by Keith David, the voice of Dr. Facilier.

Along with this great lineup, guests attending will get a “can’t-miss deep dive into what fans can anticipate from this new adventure with Tiana, Naveen, and a whole bayou of friends, both new and familiar!”

Guests will be the first to see new details for this attraction. This special presentation will be led by Disney Imagineering and we can’t wait to see what they announce.

D23 Gold Members can purchase The “Big Easy” ticket (screening and finale) for $199 (plus a $7 processing fee). For D23 General Members the price for the “Big Easy” Ticket is $249 (plus a $7 processing fee).

The “Grand Finale” allows guests to enjoy food from local culinary featuring creole classics. Guests can also tour the New Orleans Jazz Museum.
