Bob Iger returned as Disney CEO back in November 2022. His initial contract was to last for two years, but was later extended through December 31, 2026. At the time of the contract extension, the Board of Director stated his extension “provides continuity of leadership during the company’s ongoing transformation”.

While many applauded his return, it is safe to say that he has had a good deal of ups and downs since he has returned. Stock prices have reached their all time low. The state of Florida has been in an ongoing legal battle with the company and park attendance has been down.

Many top executives have also either been fired or have left the company.
