Disney World Prepares for Big Easter Crowds

Walt Disney World is in full bloom for the Easter season with special Easter entertainment and delicious Easter treats. Now Disney is preparing for large crowds with new Theme Park hours.

Walt Disney World offers great holiday activities throughout the year, and Easter is no exception. Guests can enjoy beautiful egg displays at both Disney’s Contemporary and the Grand Floridian.

At Magic Kingdom, guests can meet Mr. and Mrs. Rabbit and enjoy the vibrant Easter Parade.

For a very limited time, guests visiting EPCOT near Easter can enjoy a fun Eggstravaganza egg hunt. Be sure to check out all of the fun eggs and this year’s prize HERE.

Magic Kingdom Hours

This past week, we have seen record-breaking crowds at Walt Disney World. This led to the highest price point for Disney Genie+ this week along with all Individual Lightning Lanes selling out in a single day. Disney extended operating hours the last week of March and now hours extend into April as well.

For March 31st through April 6th, Magic Kingdom operating hours were 9:00 am until 9:00 pm. These are now extended with an opening of 8:00 am until 11:00 pm.

Walt Disney World Resort guests can enjoy Early Entry at 7:30 am. Those guests at Walt Disney World Deluxe Resorts can enjoy Extended Evening Hours on Wednesday, April 3rd from 11:00 pm until 1:00 am.

Best Restaurants in Animal Kingdom According to Disney Fans

At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, operating hours were 9:00 am until 9:00 pm. New park hours allow for an earlier opening on April 1st through April 5th at 8:30 am. Guests with Early Entry can enter the park at 8:00 am.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom shifts from operating hours of 9:00 am-6:00 pm to a park opening of 8:00 am daily. Guests with Early Entry can enter at 7:30 am.

From March 31st through April 5th, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will remain open until 8:00 pm. On April 6th, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will close at 7:00 pm. EPCOT Theme Park hours remain the same for this week.
