This is exciting news! Disney World will soon feature a drone show. Check out the details to make sure you don’t miss it.
Summer Celebrations
What an exciting day it’s been for Disney news! First, we announced HERE the opening day for EPCOT’s CommuniCore Plaza and a brand-new live show coming soon.
Are these exciting summer events enough to want to brave the Florida heat? Or, will you wait for more mild weather?
Then, we shared big news HERE for celebrating the 30 Anniversary of Disney’s Lion King. Joy is moving to Pixar Place this summer at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. I’m (Susan) hoping they announce the opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure so keep tuned to our Kenny the Pirate blog.
New Show
In 2016 Disney Springs offered an early attempt at a drone-based nighttime show. It was met with moderate success, but the technology was experimental at that time. As shown above, Disneyland Paris was the first to use drones in a major nighttime spectacular. Since then, we’ve been hoping they would make their way to Disney World. And now, it looks like Florida will be getting a new drone show!
Disney World announces a new drone show, “Disney Dreams That Soar” running nightly from May 24 until September 2, 2024!
“Disney Dreams That Soar” will feature stories celebrating the joy of flight with state-of-the-art drones choreographed with “soaring” music and Disney movie quotes. To see it, head to Disney Springs Westside in the evening.
What Does This Mean To You?
If you’re like me and tend to skip Disney Springs, this summer gives us a reason to visit!
If you time it right, you can watch the new Disney Springs drone show while dining or sitting near the lake.
Hopefully, we will see more drones in Disney World and Disneyland in the future, too!
Are you excited about Disney Springs new drone show? Or were you hoping drones would be a part of Disney World Park fireworks? Let us know in the comments and share this post with a Disney-loving friend.
