“We are almost there” literally at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. After weeks of attraction vehicle testing, Disney now updates guests with new signage. This is a great sign for the opening of this attraction.
Opening Timeline
Disney shared a new opening timeline for this attraction for Summer 2024. We also have our first peek at the Tiana animatronic for this attraction. Take a look at the cool attraction details HERE and the storyline HERE.
Be sure to check out the height requirement for this attraction and how this may affect the Virtual Queues and Lightning Lanes HERE.
Soon after the new opening timeline announcement, on February 13th, Magic Kingdom guests spied something that had not been seen for over a year. At Frontierland for the first time since January 2023, log vehicles began traveling once again.
New Signage Added
This testing is a big milestone for this attraction. As Tiana says, “We’re almost there”, and every day this attraction is getting closer to a grand opening.
Over the past several weeks, attraction vehicle testing has increased throughout the day at the Magic Kingdom. Today, Guests spotted three new signs added to this attraction.
They are all similar and state, “Sorry, Friends, We are ride testing only. Opening this summer.” These signs feature a photo of Louis and his trumpet similar to that which is displayed on the construction walls.
What this may mean?
The attraction vehicle testing has occurred in stages. At first, testing was just with the water flowing. This then progressed to actual attraction vehicles in use.
New signage is added to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure for ride testing.
We have finally reached the stage where water dummies are in use for vehicle testing. This does make us wonder if Disney is preparing for the next stage of testing.
What do you think of this new signage? Do you think Disney is preparing for the next phase of vehicle testing with actual people? Share your thoughts with us and share this news with your Disney pals.
