A Disney vacation is magical but can also be quite expensive. Many Disney guests try to find the best dining plans and reservations to give the best food and beverage choices for the best price. Find out the newest change for this unlimited beverage service.
Disney’s Contemporary Resort
Disney’s Contemporary Resort is just steps outside of the Magic Kingdom. This resort is an original resort welcoming guests for the opening day of Walt Disney World back in 1971.
Over the years, Disney’s Contemporary Resort has undergone several changes. Most recently these changes include the reimagining of Resort rooms with a modern Incredibles theming and the rebranding of The Wave dining location.
The Wave closed in July 2021. This dining location later reopened as Steakhouse 71 in honor of Walt Disney World’s 50th-anniversary celebrations in 2021.
Steakhouse 71
Steakhouse 71 offers delicious food and great Disney nostalgia. As you enter, you can enjoy behind-the-scenes photos as Walt Disney World was being constructed.
If you love the Disney+ hit series, Behind the Attractions, this is a “must-do” dining location. Steakhouse 71 also offers some of the best entree options at Walt Disney World Resort.
Guests dining for breakfast can enjoy many great options, but one of my (Donna) personal favorites is the seasonal pancakes. As you guessed it, these change seasonally such as a Pecan Pumpkin in the fall and Bluerry Lemon pancakes in the spring. Check out Susan’s full breakfast review HERE.
Bottomless Beverage Change
Walt Disney World reserves the right to make menu changes at any time, and we see many menu changes frequently. Now it appears that the Bottomless Mimosa option is no longer offered at Steakhouse 71.
The Bottomless Mimosa is no longer offered at Steakhouse 71.
This menu option is now removed from the Steakhouse 71 menu. The Bottomless Mimosa was a guest favorite from when this dining location was the before mentioned The Wave. It was quietly removed from the menu this month and, to our understanding, is no longer offered.
