Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is replacing Splash Mountain and will open in the summer of 2024. While summer can mean anywhere from Memorial Day to Labor Day, we still have not received a more precise opening timeline.

We are learning so much about this attraction, from the new critters to the fact that Imagineers are now testing the ride vehicles!

Disney continues to promote this attraction heavily with sneak peeks of animatronics and other ride elements. They are really pushing for summer travel this year with this ride opening and several discounts.

Part of the attraction’s storyline involves Tiana’s Foods. And, Disney installed this antique delivery truck inside the attraction queue overnight!

I love when the queue is done just as well as the ride itself. It helps transport Guests into the story before even getting on the attraction!

See the video below for a closer look at all the unique elements of this charming vehicle:

The enchantment of the bayou will illuminate with a celebration during Mardi Gras season hosted by Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen. It picks up where the movie last left off: with the kiss.

Take a look at the cool attraction details HERE and the storyline HERE. We also have some thoughts on how the attraction will affect virtual queues and Lightning Lanes, which you can read about in this post.
