Athletes See Another Change for runDisney

runDisney is gearing up for their final race weekend of the season. They just sent select athletes new information for next year’s season.

Club runDisney

Club runDisney is a somewhat newer offering from runDisney. It lets athletes enjoy some runDisney perks.

Club runDisney has three different levels. These include Silver, Gold, and Platinum. You will find more enticing perks in the Gold and Platinum levels, however Silver gives you the opportunity to upgrade your Membership before the general public (if space allows).

With races selling out within hours of opening and race merchandise flying off the shelves, Club runDisney may appeal to some runners that are looking for a less stressful race experience.

Club runDisney Calendar

The Club runDisney calendar has always been a bit confusing. Your in-person Club runDisney benefits do not match up to the race that you have registered for with your Club runDisney early registration benefit.

For the 2023-2024 Membership, benefits began on October 1, 2023 and will continue through September 30, 2024.

In order to be able to have early shopping access (only available to Gold and Platinum Members) to an event that you have registered for with your Club runDisney early registration, you must purchase another year of membership.

New Calendar

Club runDisney will be changing their calendar for the 2025 race season. It will now follow a regular calendar year, January 1 – December 31. runDisney has notified their Members by email stating they will get an additional three months of membership for free!

The Club runDisney season will now go from January 1- December 31 of the same calendar year.

With this change, Gold and Platinum Members will receive additional benefits at the 2024 Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend. These benefits will include early access to the runDisney Merchandise shop (Gold and Platinum), enhanced start group placement (Platinum) and expedited bib pick-up (Platinum).
