Guests staying at this EPCOT resort were given a warning that would impact them tomorrow. See exactly how and when Guests will be impacted.
Maintenance
Maintenance has to happen from time to time to keep things running smoothly, even though we all would like to think it all runs on Disney magic. Unfortunately, that can cause some inconveniences for Guests.
These impacts can be minor to more severe. Disney does their best to try and limit the negative impact this could have on their Guests’ stay.
They do this by announcing the maintenance that will be done to their Guests, and the time that they will be impacted.
Water Outage
Signs are up at Disney’s Boardwalk to alert Guests of a water outage. This water outage will occur in the overnight hours on Friday, April 19th from 12:00 am to 4:00 am.
Guests at Disney’s Boardwalk will experience a water outage during the overnight hours of Friday, April 19th.
The signs read: “To better assist you in planning your stay, we would like to make you aware of a scheduled water outage during the overnight hours on Friday, April 19, 2024 from 12:00 am to 4:00 am. During this time, there will be an interruption of water to your Guest room.”
What does this mean for you?
For most Guests staying at Disney’s Boardwalk there wont be any disruption as they will most likely be sleeping. However, runDisney is hosting their Springtime Surprise Weekend and athletes need to be up bright and early with the 5K on Friday morning.
runDisney athletes participating in the 5K that are staying at Disney’s Boardwalk will be greatly impacted by this outage.
The 5K race starts at 5:00 am with transportation to the race beginning at 3:00 am. It is disappointing that this outage will fall on a morning so many will be getting up early. Hopefully, everyone will se the warnings and plan ahead.
Good luck, runners!
