Rare Characters at Animal Kingdom for Earth Day

Happy Earth Day! Every year, Animal Kingdom celebrates this special week with special offerings. Take a look at all the rare characters you can find this week only!

Earth Week

One of the best days to celebrate Earth Day is right at Walt Disney World! There is no better way to get up close and personal to wildlife and appreciate all of the nature surrounding you than at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

During Earth Week, Disney World has fun offerings to commemorate the celebration. Be on the lookout for rare characters, delicious treats, fun Magic Shots and more!

Last year’s celebration was significant as it coincided with Animal Kingdom’s 25th Anniversary. You can take a look at this year’s offerings in this post.

Characters

Special events are a great opportunity for Disney to bring out rare characters. We see this for Halloween and Christmas parties, runDisney races, and DVC events.

All this week, Disney friends are stopping by Animal Kingdom to celebrate Earth Week. From April 21 to April 28, be on the look out around the Tree of Life and on the waterways around the park.

Who is Meeting

Kenai and Koda from Brother Bear are floating around on the flotilla while Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde from Zootopia have dedicated meet and greets.

Appearance times vary between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 every day.

The My Disney Experience app also mentions appearances from our Hundred Acre Wood friends, so be on the lookout for them as well!
