Disney’s Hollywood Studios is celebrating their 35th anniversary in a big way! See what is in store for this special day.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Disney’s Hollywood Studios opened on May 1, 1989. The park initially opened to recognize Hollywood’s Golden age and recognize film and entertainment. It has come a long way throughout the years as new lands have been opened, such as Toy Story Land and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Guests can see many references to Hollywood in their shops, buildings and restaurants. You can even see some hand prints of some Hollywood stars in the ground in front of the Chinese Theatre. It is definitely worth the look!
Anniversary Celebration
Disney’s Hollywood Studios will mark the 35th anniversary on May 1, 2024. A celebration will take place with park representatives and characters at the Theater of the Stars on Wednesday, May 1st at 11:00 a.m.

A Virtual Queue system will be used to purchase anniversary merchandise on May 1, 2024 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
