Disney World Is Cracking Down on Third Party Providers

In the infamous words of Scar, “Be Prepared!” Walt Disney World is updating guests on two new policy changes coming soon. What do you think of these new changes?

There is nothing quite like staying at a Walt Disney World Resort and inside what may lovingly call the “Disney Bubble”. Guests have many resort options from deluxe, moderate, and value resorts.

Walt Disney World also offers guests another great option at Disney’s Fort Wilderness. There are many lodging options at Fort Wilderness and this site offers a unique vibe.

Fort Wilderness is undergoing big changes. Last year, Trail’s End and Crockets Tavern recently reopened as a quick service location. Opening this July, The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort will welcome guests with 350 cabins that “bring refreshed cabin hideaways.”

With 750 acres to explore at Fort Wilderness, many guests need a golf cart during their stay. Disney is now making changes to their policy on golf carts that you will need to know about.

Starting June 1, 2024, guests bringing their own golf cart must be prepared to present proof of insurance upon check-in and sign an agreement and waiver.

Guests may also rent golf carts from Fort Wilderness in advance by calling 407-824-2724. Third-party companies renting golf cards are not allowed to conduct business on Walt Dinsey World property.

Addtional Change

Disney has many “Featured Providers” for guests to rent RVs from. One benefit of renting from one of these providers is that the guest does not have to be present when the RV arrives. The “Featured provider” will work directly with Disney Cast members for both delivery and pickup.

Guests may still bring their own RV, but only registered guests will be permitted. This prevents third-party providers from delivering RVs for guests.
