Disney Announces New Surprises for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party returns in 2024! Disney announced all the details for dates and offerings. Plus, there are NEW experiences this year!

2024 Dates

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP for short) will run on select dates in August, September, and October this year. The parties will take place on the following evenings:

• August 9, 13, 16, 20, 23, 27, 30
• September 2, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29
• October 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25, 27, 29, 31

Pricing varies per night, with the cheaper nights being August and September. October is the most expensive (and most crowded) as fall break and Halloween Guests arrive.

Offerings

Offerings will be about the same as they have been in previous years. We will have the parade, trick-or-treating, special fireworks, character meet and greets, and more.

Overlays for Space Mountain, Monsters Inc Laugh Floor, and Mad Tea Party will also add a spooky ambiance to those attractions.

As we shared recently, Disney is also looking for Haunted Mansion performers. We absolutely recommend watching Broome the Butler and his partner, Miss Carlotta/Rinatta, before getting on the ride.

New Offerings

Disney shares that 5 NEW offerings will be available at the party this year. First, Mickey and Minnie will have new costumes! See the photo above.

Second, more villains will be out and about in Magic Kingdom during the party. Grab a selfie with Maleficent or Cruella!

Third, DescenDANCE Party will take place at Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland. This new rave is inspired by the upcoming Disney Original Movie “Descendants: The Rise of Red,” premiering on Disney+ on July 12.

Fourth, for the first time during the party, you can meet the clairvoyant character from “Encanto” alongside Mirabel at their Casita in Fairytale Garden. Yay!

And finally, this year, Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade will take place at an earlier time – perfect for those guests attending with little ones who want to enjoy the spooky fun before it’s bedtime. They did not mention times, so stay tuned!

Ready to Plan?

Onsite Guests with a resort reservation overlapping the party dates may purchase tickets beginning May 8. Then, everyone will be able to book on May 15, 2024.

Tickets will be available to purchase as early as May 8, 2024.
