Yesterday, Disney made a big announcement about a new bundle option coming to Disney+. Check out what you can bundle and when it will start!
Disney+ Changes
Disney+ has been the streaming platform of choice for many Disney fans for the past few years. Last month, Disney+ and Hulu merged and subscribers noticed a few changes.
This is not the only change for Disney+ since it first started streaming in 2019. Subscribers have experienced price increases, along with new tiers for ad-free subscriptions and ad-supported subscriptions.
Disney CEO, Bob Iger, also hinted that Diseny+ will begin “cracking down on account sharing.” Originally planned to begin in March 2024, this timeline is now extended to the relief of many subscribers.
Last month, we also shared that Disney+ could introduce “always-on channels.” Disney has not confirmed this new programming, but you can read more about the possibility HERE.
New Bundle Offering
Yesterday, Disney Entertainment and Warner Bros. Discovery shared a new streaming bundle option will be coming! This new bundle will include Disney+, Hulu, and Max.
Viewers can purchase the bundle on any of the three streaming platform’s websites. There will also be an ad-supported and ad-free plan.
Content will include offerings from ABC, CNN, DC, Discover, Food Network, FX, HBO, HGTV, Hulu, Marvel, Pixar, Searchlight, Warner Bros., and more!
Release and Pricing
This new bundle offering is set to release this summer. However, no official date has been announced nor has bundle pricing been announced.
“On the heels of the very successful launch of Hulu on Disney+, this new bundle with Max will offer subscribers even more choice and value. This incredible new partnership puts subscribers first, giving them access to blockbuster films, originals, and three massive libraries featuring the very best brands and entertainment in streaming today.”
Joe Earley, President, Direct to Consumer, Disney Entertainment
