Breaking: Will Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Have a Virtual Queue?

Now that we have an opening date, Disney released information about Virtual Queue and Lightning Lane details. What do you think of these options?

Opening Date

The enchantment of the bayou will illuminate with a celebration during Mardi Gras season hosted by Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen. It picks up where the movie last left off: with the kiss.

After many months of speculation, Disney finally released that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will open on June 28, 2024.

Virtual Queue

Many wondered if Tiana’s Bayou Adventure would use the Virtual Queue that Disney loves to bring out for new attractions.

The answer is somewhat mixed. Disney shares that when Tiana’s Bayou Adventure first opens a Virtual Queue will be in place. Guests can join this queue at 7:00 am or 1:00 pm. With the initial opening, a standby line will not be in place.

Disney shares that a standby line will open “after the attraction’s opening.” This is not a definite timeline, but it appears that a Virtual Queue will not continue after the initial buzz of guests dies down.

Lightning Lane

Many times, Disney will place the newest attractions in the special priced tier “Individual Lightning Lanes.” This will not be the case for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
