Huge Disappointment for Passholders on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Opening Day

We’ve been eagerly anticipating the opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure for quite some time, but there has been a twist in the plans. When the attraction opens, you may not be able to ride it right away.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

The enchanting bayou will come to life with a celebration during Mardi Gras season, hosted by Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen. The experience will pick up where the movie left off, with the magical kiss.

Mama Odie will reprise her role as the catalyst of that magic. She will entertain and interact with guests along their journey, showcasing her special magic.

Getting Ready for Opening

Other than the summer of 2024, Disney remained tight-lipped for months regarding an exact opening date for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. However, recently it was announced that it will open on June 28.

Before the official opening, Disney will give various people a chance to preview Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

This will include Cast Members, DVC Members, D23 Gold Members, and Annual Passholders. With previous new Disney attractions, there’s been a longer time between the opening date announcement and the actual opening. It will be interesting to see the timing of these previews.

What Does This Mean to You?

Unfortunately, if you’re an Annual Passholder and aren’t able to go for a preview, you may be disappointed on Opening Day.

As of now, the Disney World reservation calendar shows no availability for Magic Kingdom on June 28!
