Inside Out came out in 2015 and follows Riley, a girl whose emotions get the best of her when she moves. They must all learn how to navigate her new way of life.

Inside Out 2 will debut in theaters on June 14, 2024 and follows Riley and her new emotions as they try to suppress the old ones.

The film has already broken records ahead of its release! After the first teaser trailer was released, it broke a record with 157 million views, becoming the most-watched animated trailer in Disney’s history.

As with other Disney/Pixar movies, Hollywood Studios will host a sneak peek before it officially heads to theaters. We don’t have a start or end date yet.

You can find it at Walt Disney Presents, which is located right behind the Chinese Theater. You may also want to consider checking out the Disney exhibit while you’re there.

Nearby characters include live-action Ariel in the same building and Pixar favorites (including Joy beginning June 10) at Pixar Place.

I’m really interested in seeing these more sophisticated emotions in the second film. I think it’s great that Disney made Riley grow up just like the kids who watched the first movie several years ago.

In addition to Anxiety (voiced by Maya Hawke), Inside Out 2 will also introduce us to Envy (voiced by Ayo Edebiri), Ennui (voiced by Adele Exarchopoulos), and Embarassment (voiced by Paul Walter Hauser).
