Frontierland is a bit of a mess with Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opening in a month and Country Bear Jamboree closed. Here is what you need to know to help you navigate this part of Magic Kingdom.
Frontierland Changes
After a few rough months for Magic Kingdom’s Frontierland, things are looking up for this land. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will open on June 28, 2024. And, the reopening of the Country Bear Jamboree isn’t too far behind.
We do not have a reopening date for Country Bear Jamboree, but we do have a first look at some of the new costumes! You can read about that HERE.
With these projects, Frontierland is a bit of a mess. There is a lot of construction in the area and not a lot to do with these two attractions closed.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
Crews are currenty installing the Lightning Lane and standby queue signs at the entrance to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Disney will utilize a virtual queue to start with, and the attraction will also be part of Genie+. Read more about how to ride TBA in this post.
There is also a mystery sign or statue that is currently covered up with a giant black tarp. We have no idea what that is, but with less than a month until previews, we will know soon enough!
There are also some new signs on the fencing that surrounds the attraction (seen above). Pretty soon all those walls will be coming down!
Pecos Bill
With Country Bear Jamboree located right next to Pecos Bill, the restaurant has some changes. The attraction exit is completely walled up on the inside of the restaurant.
Pecos Bill has a few changes while work continues on Country Bear Jamboree.
In addition, the front entrance of Pecos Bill is also the exit now (this is located right next to Country Bear). To enter the restaurant, you will need to use the side entrance by the outdoor tables.
