EPCOT is heading “Into the Unknown” this summer with no festival for several weeks. See what you can expect at EPCOT this summer in between festivals and see which festival booths remain open. Have you visited in between festivals before?
Non-Festival EPCOT
EPCOT delights guests with cultural experiences throughout the World Showcase and through four great festivals throughout the year. Typically these festivals are fairly close together.
The International Flower and Garden Festival ended yesterday, May 27th which is earlier than in previous years. The International Food and Wine Festival was pushed back later starting on August 29th. For a little over three months this summer, EPCOT will not host a festival.
EPCOT will have one new element this summer. The CommuniCore Hall is set to open on June 10, 2024 and guests can meet Mickey Mouse and his pals in their new location. A brand new Encanto show “¡Celebración Encanto!” will delight guests for select dates. For more on this new show click HERE.
Festival Booths
The variety of food booths is a big draw for guests at EPCOT festivals. Many were curious about what EPCOT would look like with so many food booths closed for several months.
As the International Flower and Garden Festival ended, there are still several food booths available for guests. One of the newer booths, the Swirled Showcase, remains open offering soft serve and soft serve floats.
The Tangerine Cafe remains open as well at the Morocco Pavilion. Guests can enjoy kebabs, stone-baked Moroccan bread along with seasonal hard cider.
Refreshment Stations
Along with the above booths, the Refreshment Port, Refreshment Outpost, and Refreshment Station will also remain open this summer. The Refreshment Station will feature a Frozen Hibiscus Lemonade, a frozen Coca-Cola, or a Frozen Fanta Pina Colada.
Several festival booths will remain open this summer.
At this time, the Refreshment Port offers the Traditional Poutine (french fries, beef gravy, and cheese curds), assorted fountain beverages, seasonal cocktails, seasonal draft beer, and a Bud Light Lager Draft.
The Refreshment Outpost, hosted by Coca-Cola, offers a Frozen slushy (Coca-Cola or Minute Maid Lemonade), a soft serve waffle cone, and several fountain beverage options. Adult guests can enjoy a Bud Light Lager Draft, seasonal draft beer, Mango Starr (Mango Puree and Starr African Rum), or an Outpost Lemonade (Frozen Minute Maid Lemonade and Absolut Vodka).
