Gideon’s Bakehouse is an extremely popular place to grab treats in Disney Springs at Walt Disney World. The bakehouse serves delectable bakery items including cakes and cookies as well as caffeinated brews. The nitro cold brews are especially popular and pair well with the unique cookie creations.
Gideon’s is so popular that often long lines form. Sometimes the line even moves to a virtual queue. But you can beat the lines if you follow this advice.
People often stop to chat with me (Kate) while I am in the cookie line to ask if it is worth it. The answer? If you love delicious soft, chewy cookies, then you won’t have regrets. It is especially worth it if you can catch hot cookie hour.
New June Cookies
Some people were hoping for a return of last June’s cookie, which was the delicious Sea Turtle Cookie. It featured Chocolate, caramel, and sea-salted Candied Pecans.
However, if one thing is certain, the owner at Gideon’s bakehouse follows his own whims, focuses on quality offerings, and isn’t subject to falling into patterns of predictability. And, this month, we will see the return of a different unique offering: the Cookie Butter Butterscotch Cookie!
Butterscotch’s Cookie Butter Butterscotch cookie is a rich and flavorful cookie. It combines Biscoff Cookie Butter and premium Butterscotch chips. We have had this one, and if you love butterscotch, you will enjoy this sweet offering. It is one that can be eaten over the course of several days.
