EPCOT Brings Back Popular Show for a Limited Time

EPCOT Brings Back Popular Show for a Limited Time

With EPCOT in between festivals, there is a lack of entertainment and shows. However, Disney is bringing back a fan-favorite show. Be sure to catch it before it’s gone!

The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival happened from February 28 to May 27, 2024. Following that, EPCOT’s 2024 Food and Wine Festival is set to start on August 29 and end on November 23, 2024.

This means there will be a longer gap than in recent years with no festival from May 28 to August 29.

However, during this period, there will be an exciting new addition to EPCOT as Communicore Plaza and Hall are finally opening! This summer, visitors can enjoy a variety of new offerings, including a new Encanto show and the reopening of Mickey and Minnie’s character spot in its new location.

During Disney World’s 50th anniversary, Disney brought so many amazing additions! My (Susan) favorite thing is the addition of lights on Spaceship Earth. I was thrilled when I learned this was permanent.

For a limited time, EPCOT is bringing back the EPCOT 40th Spaceship Earth show between festivals.

With each EPCOT festival, Disney has shown a different themed Spaceship Earth light show. The first amazing show I saw was The Rainbow Connection. Other themed shows have also featured Wish, Beauty and the Beast, Pocahontas, and more!

What Does this Mean to You?

This summer is sure to please guests with everything new coming! Animal Kingdom is celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Lion King. EPCOT is finally opening Communicore Plaza and Hall, and Disney Springs is showing a brand-new drone show! And you don’t want to miss Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opening on June 28.

This summer, some festival booths will remain open. Not having all the festival booths open means you can take time to explore the food kiosks and quick-service locations around World Showcase. If you love festival booths, you’re in luck!
