Tiana’s Bayou Adventure officially started Annual Passholder previews today. We are shocked at what we are seeing!
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens on June 28, 2024. It will pick up where the movie left off: with Tiana’s success! We will see what Tiana’s life looks like now with a successful restaurant.
Tiana invites us to a Mardi Gras party as a thank you for all the help she has received. When it turns out there’s been a bit of a mix–up with the party preparations, she wants us to meet her at Tiana’s Foods to help with the missing ingredient for the party.
If you are looking for more information on the attraction including animatronics, the height requirement, and how to ride it, look no further than our guide!
Previews
As with other recent attractions and lands, Disney is allowing certain groups the opportunity to experience the attraction before it officially opens.
Cast Member previews were off to a rocky start as many times the ride was closed. It appears Disney did not fix all of the issues that plagued Splash Mountain before it closed.
Today, June 13, is the first day of Annual Passholder previews. To ride eligible Passholders will need to join a virtual queue. More details can be found HERE.
Shocking Availability
We expected the virtual queue to remain open for longer than half a second, but we were not expecting it to stay open for 2 hours! Given the fact that this is for a smaller group of people, it makes sense to see more availability than other virtual queues.
However, we were really shocked for it to remain open as long as it did. It closed right around 9:00 am.
We are curious to see how long the 1:00 pm queue will remain open. Additionally, we are also curious if the ride will even open today. The park has been open for 15 minutes and no boarding groups have been called yet.

Other than some mechanical issues, there was nothing wrong with Splash Mountain. A few people with plenty of time on their hands "found" something to cry about and Disney as usual, caved in to this very small, but noisy group of people. The ride is basically the same with a new theme. Not much to get excited about. These complainers will never ever be happy, so why cater to them.

Not only are there no salt mines near New Orleans but I don't know a single person who has gone white water rafting through the bayous of Louisiana.

They shut down a very successful ride to replace it wokeness. Salt mines is no where near New Orleans. The whole New Orleans vibe is ridiculous. I am from New Orleans and lived there for 50 years.
