How to Celebrate the Fourth of July at Disney World

The Fourth of July is almost here. Will you be traveling to Disney World to take in the festivities?

Fireworks at Magic Kingdom

Mickey and his pals love to celebrate our independence with a major display of fireworks at the Magic Kingdom! These are some of the best that are displayed each year.

“Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” fireworks over Magic Kingdom with a simultaneous show over Seven Seas Lagoon on July 3rd and 4th at 9:20 pm.

Magic Kingdom will be open July 3rd from 8 am to 11 pm with Extended Evening Hours for Guests staying at Deluxe hotels from 11p-1 am. On July 4, Magic Kingdom will be open from 8 am-11 pm. You can also enjoy a dance party in front of Cinderella Castle and throughout the park as DJs will be mixing tunes.

Characters

Head over to American Adventure at EPCOT for several ways to celebrate. Be sure to catch the a cappella group Voices of Liberty. They will perform patriotic numbers throughout the day. You will find them in the rotunda.

Characters will meet in their “Spirit of ’76” costumes.

EPCOT Nightime Festivities

Stay in Epoct at night and you will see Spaceship Earth lit in red, white, and blue! There is also a fireworks show! “Heartbeat of Freedom” fireworks will follow Luminous on both July 4th at 9 pm.
