Disappointing Changes to the Sleepy Hollow Menu

You have your favorite Disney foods, and then Disney changes the menu. Sleepy Hollow just made big changes to their menu, and we are not okay. Was your favorite Disney snack saved?

Magic Kingdom Dining

While Magic Kingdom may be the most well-known theme park in the world, it is not exactly known for its dining. I (Donna) prefer enjoying quick-service dining while at the Magic Kingdom.

Great quick service options like Casey’s Corner, the Adventureland Spring Roll Cart, and, of course, Sleepy Hollow offer delicious options for the entire family. The bonus with quick service is that you have even more time to enjoy all the fun at Magic Kingdom.

Disney does make changes to menu options fairly often, and we brace ourselves for impact when our favorite dining options change.

Sleepy Hollow

Sleepy Hollow is located in Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom. You actually pass it on your way to the Hub from Liberty Square. The menu is rather simple with corn dogs, waffle sandwiches, and funnel cakes, but this is a must-do for many Disney foodies.

Unfortunately, the waffle sandwiches are completely removed from the menu. This includes the Sweet-and-Spicy Chicken Waffle Sandwich and the Fresh Fruit and Nutella Waffle Sandwich.

This is a big change as the Fresh Fruit and Nutella Waffle Sandwich has been a favorite of mine (Donna) for the past 5 years. This removal also brings new menu options.

New Menu Options

The Sleepy Hollow menu looks a bit different now. In place of waffle sandwiches are a few Mickey waffle options. There is a Mickey Waffle with Berries and Cream. This includes strawberries and blueberries but no Nutella.

Waffle Sandwiches are no longer available at Sleepy Hollow.

Also newly added is the Mickey Waffle with Chocolate Hazelnut Spread and Bananas. Basically, it looks as if Disney took a guest favorite with the Fresh Fruit Sandwich and divided the ingredients between 2 different menu items.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I (Donna) do not enjoy the thick, dense Mickey Mouse waffles. I much preferred the thin waffle once featured with the waffle sandwich.

At this time, it is unclear if this is a permanent menu change, or if Disney is simply testing these new menu options. We hope the waffle sandwiches will soon return to Sleepy Hollow.
