We love hearing when baby animals arrive at Walt Disney World. Two more babies now make Disney World their home!
Disney’s Baby Animals
Good news is always exciting to hear. When Disney announces a new baby has arrived, that is wonderful news! Disney has welcomed more than 300 little lives including rare twin and triplet cotton top tamarins, zebras, river hogs, an addax, and so many more!
Disney has worked with experts to help grow the population of endangered or threatened species.
Disney’s conservation efforts have brought numerous baby animals from various endangered and threatened species into the world. These births are part of an initiative called the Species Survival Plan.
Baby Zebra
A new baby zebra has arrived at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge! The baby girl is a Hartmann’s mountain zebra. She weighs around 100 pounds!
The baby zebra was born at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge on June 13, 2024.

Baby Eland
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is bursting with baby news! A baby eland has also made her arrival.
Mom and baby are currently bonding in a backstage barn.
Mom, Cleo, gave birth to her first calf! We are happy to share that both mom and baby are doing well. You won’t find them on the savanna right now as they are bonding in a backstage barn.
You will want to head over to Animal Kingdom Lodge soon to see these beautiful new Disney baby animals make their debut!
