New Warning
Guests visiting Walt Disney World and the surrounding area received a heat advisory warning for July 4th. The advisory issued by the National Weather Service is in effect from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm.
The heat index is expected to reach 110 degrees Fahrenheit. Concerns issued by the National Weather Service include high temperatures and humidity levels that can cause heat-related illnesses.
Guests are encouraged to drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, and stay out of the sun. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose-fitting clothing.
Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning and evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
