Warning Continues for Disney Guests for the Second Day

Guests at Disney World are being given a warning for the second day in a row. Here is what Disney World Guests need to be prepared for.

Guests can encounter all kinds of weather at Walt Disney World. You can see rain, extreme heat, hurricanes, and even cold. It is best to be prepared for any weather you may encounter during your trip.

Today, July 5th, a heat advisory has been issued for Central Florida. The heat advisory is from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a heat index of up to 110!

The National Weather Service wants people to know that the high heat and humidity could cause heat-related illnesses!

The warning was issued for Inland Indian River, Inland Martin, Inland Saint Lucie, Northern Lake, Okeechobee, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, and Southern Lake counties.

What Does This Mean for You?

Guests are encouraged to drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, and stay out of the sun. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose-fitting clothing.

Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning and evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
