Temporary Closure for Disney Entertainment at Magic Kingdom

Before you head to Walt Disney World for your next trip this summer, you might want to know about these entertainment changes. See if you need to update any of your travel plans.

There is a lot to see and do at Walt Disney World! With so many attractions to meeting characters, and great entertainment throughout the day, it is hard to see and do everything you want to do in a single day.

Quite often, you will run into changes in entertainment and attraction schedules for any reason, so it is good to be prepared. Many times attractions will have refurbishments and sometimes entertainment can change at any moment.

Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire

Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire is a castle show that can typically be seen throughout the day. Characters include Tiana and other friends from The Princess and the Frog, Rapunzel and Flynn from Tangled, and friends from Frozen, like Anna, Elsa and Olaf.

Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire will not be showing at the Magic Kingdom through July 27, 2024.

Showtimes for the show return on July 28, 2024 during the day for 10:00 a.m., 11:10 a.m. in the morning and 12:45 p.m., 1:45 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. in the afternoon.

Let the Magic Begin

Let the Magic Begin is a fantastic way to start your day at the Magic Kingdom! As you make your way down Main Street U.S.A., stop at the castle for a show with Mickey and all of his pals. This show can usually be seen right before the park officially opens.

Let the Magic Begin will not be showing until July 27, 2024.

The show returns to its normal time beginning July 28, 2024. The show begins at 8:55 a.m.

No reason for either of the closures of the above has been given. It is possible there is some construction being done around the castle stage. Be sure to check Character Locator for any further updates and closures at Walt Disney World!
